Eco Hotel
La Cabaña
The Eco Hotel La Cabaña opened its doors in 2015 in order to offer visitors a unique lodging experience. The main house (Cabaña del Monte) was built in 1900, using a traditional technique called bareque, and is an example of the typical architecture in the coffee zone. The Eco Hotel is at the centre of the working dairy farm, "La Cabaña", from which it takes its name.

The Eco Hotel La Cabaña is set in the lower part of the Cocora Valley, just 2 kms from Salento, and not far from the iconic Wax Palm Forest and the National Park of the Nevados,
The Eco Hotel has two traditional rural houses: The Mountain Cabin and The River Cabin, both offering a memorable combination of comfort in a natural setting.
About us
We are a family dedicated to preserving the traditions of our ancestors in an atmosphere of social and environmental responsibility. We are keen to share with you the customs and history of our beloved region.
We invite our guests to trek or horse ride through the valley´s fields and paths, spot some of our dozens of endemic birds, sample traditional rural cuisine, enjoy a cup of coffee from our local plantations or rise at dawn to experience milking a cow. Then there´s no better way to finish the day than around the bonfire, enjoying a glass of wine with your dinner.
